Eastern Goldfields BMX Club Championships

EGBMX CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS – AWARD GUIDELINES

Eastern Goldfields BMX Club will hold 11 specifically nominated race meets which will make up the Eastern Goldfields BMX Club’s annual “Club Championships”.

At the conclusion of these 11 race meets, the top three riders from each race group will be determined based on points accumulated over their top 7 events.
These riders will be awarded ‘Club Championship’ Trophies at the end of year Presentation event. ‘Our Sqorz’ event management system will be used to calculate points and ultimately positions over the series.

Summary
• Eastern Goldfields BMX Club Committee will nominate the dates (x11) for the ‘Club Championships’ and they will be advertised on the Club calendar.
• A technical guide will be released prior to the first race meet of the Club Championship series. The technical guide will be reviewed annually andnmay be changed from year to year.
• Riders will nominate for the Club Championships in their age groups. Depending on numbers nominated in each age group, groups may be merged. The Club Registrar makes the final decision on merged classes. Riders will stay in the same groups for each race meet of the Club Championships.
• Riders will accumulate points based on where they finish in each moto at each of the 11 designated race meets.
• The points from  your top 7 race meets will go towards the Club Championships.
• Trophies will be presented to those riders positioned 1st to 3rd in each group at the end of the series.
• All other riders in each group will receive a participation medal
• Awards will be presented at the end of year Presentation event.

Eligibility
1. Be a current financial member of Eastern Godfields BMX Club.
2. Be a current financial member of AusCycling.
3. Age riders must have a current registered Transponder.
